This 90-minute module is designed to build your knowledge and skills to confidently assist and support people to safely self-administer their medication, using a person-centred approach.
Module inclusions:
- Consider the need to provide assistance and support to some people, particularly older adults, to safely self-administer their medication
- Discover how to appropriately support and assist a person to self-administer their medication safely by following an appropriate framework such as the 8 Rights of Medication
- Explore a person-centred approach to assist and support a person to take their medication
- Improve your skills through self-assessment activities.
