Occupational Violence & Aggression (OVA) Disability (SRS)

This course consists of two modules designed to deepen your understanding of Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) within specific contexts. Throughout the course, you will learn to define OVA, recognise acceptable behaviours, and identify the various factors that contribute to incidents of aggression in different environments. You will also explore and apply tailored strategies for de-escalation, allowing you to effectively support individuals. Additionally, you will develop a comprehensive OVA plan that considers the unique needs of those you support, ensuring a contextualised approach to managing and mitigating risks associated with OVA.
