NESA Frontline Focus: Mental Health First Aid & Aggression Awareness for Employment Services
Protect your people. Support your leaders. Build resilience
From 1 December 2025, new workplace mental health legislation will require all employers to identify and manage psychosocial hazards, including aggression and violence. For Employment Services providers, this creates a clear responsibility to protect both frontline staff and leaders who face daily pressures in high-demand client environments.
Frontline Focus is a tailored training package designed to prepare Employment Services teams for these changes. Delivered by facilitators with direct industry experience, the program combines Blended Online Community Mental Health First Aid with our Occupational Violence & Aggression (OVA) course. This dual approach ensures participants gain the confidence to recognise mental health challenges, respond to crisis situations, and apply proven strategies to de-escalate aggression.
The training covers mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use, as well as crisis situations including suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, and aggressive behaviours. Both staff and leaders leave equipped with practical, evidence-based tools they can apply immediately, helping to build resilient teams and safer workplaces.
Available at a single group rate for up to 12 participants, Frontline Focus is a cost-effective way to meet compliance requirements while strengthening your organisation’s culture of care.
